purple scarf

A couple of months ago, a friend gave me some purple wool.

It traveled all the way from beautiful Eltham...

...through the laneways of the inner north...

...and arrived at my house, making itself at home on my knitting needles.

Now I have finally finished my scarf. It is the most perfect aubergine shade, and is a nice subtle hint of colour with the neutral clothes I seem to be wearing lately.

I have been visiting your Blog for a little while now and everytime I do stop by for a visit I am always taken aback by how sweet and pretty it is. Your photos are so beautiful and your posts are so well crafted - I love visiting your Blog.

Would you care to exchange links? It would be an honour.

Honestly, this is such a perfect, sweet story. I love the photo of the wool winding its way down the path.

Lovely photo story! It reminds me of the Melbourne tourism ads, which is probably deliberate (?). The 'lose yourself in Melbourne' ones, where the girl's following the thread? Anyway, it's gorgeous!

I absolutely love the way the ball of wool gradually made it's way to the knitting needles. Your style of photography is simple and beautiful. x
