A very important date!

Today is the 15th August – the day I chose back in January that would mark my return to buying 'new' clothes! When I say new, I mean brand new, first hand from the shop. All year, I have been buying either vintage or op-shop clothes, shoes and so on It has been an interesting experiment! I am going to write up more on it tonight, as I am in quite a rush, and just wanted to post a new purchase – new shoes!

I love these shoes – chunky heels and ankle straps, my two favourite things for my shoes. I also love the two tones of tan and brown, and that they are quite dressy. There is more to come... soon!

This is outfit is just darling!! Your whole color pallatte really is beautiful. I am finding myself to be obsessed with red tights lately, I always want to wear them--they seem to go with everything. And I must say I am jealous--those shoes are to die for! Can't wait to see what your 'new' clothes that you bought are <3

Oh and I just wanted to say that I left you an award on my blogs :)!!

ciao ciao

Oh well done! I might try that next year when I go back to being a poor student... eek! I'll probably HAVE to do it rather than choosing to do it...

Thumbelina: thanks so much! Red tights do go with so much, and are fun to wear. And thanks very much – I shall have a look now! :)

grant: thank you!

Lady Smaggle: thanks! It is surprisingly easy, and it felt really good. I am going to post about it v soon, but it is the fiances' birthday weekend, and he's a Leo who demands a lot of attention! Which is fair enough :) So as soon as I have the time.

Mila: thanks! I am pretty chuffed with the shoes...

StrikeMatchthanks! Oh, it feels brilliant. Um, we need a Topshop! Zomp in Melbourne can be good (they might have stores all over, I'm not too sure) and Country Road and Sportsgirl have a couple of nice things at the moment... good luck, can't wait to see what you find!

Skye: thanks very much! :)

Lady Melbourne: thanks! I love the cardigan, it's sooo warm. And the shoes feel great to have!

WJ: thank you!

Miss Karen:, aw, thanks very much!

Alice: thanks! It was easier than I thought...

kirstie: thanks! I'd recommend it, more benefits than cons for me for sure! :)

Fashion Addict: thanks! And I'll fix up the link now, thanks for letting me know.

styledigger: thank you so much!

The Collector: hehe, I'm going from new-to-old! Yes, country road, but you already know that ;) Thanks! They are fantastically comfortable. And CR do half sizes, I am so impressed!
And buying new clothes feels good, though I do also feel a little guilty...
