From tomorrow, there are just 3 days of winter left. Technically, that is. I am looking forward to Spring, but I am still enjoying the last of the coldest weather. Today I wrapped up in soft tweed, a warm cardigan and thick tights, balanced with high, thin black heels.
The dress is actually an old tweed skirt worn higher up. It really is super soft, and felt luxuriously warm. I also wore my hair in its actual style – I rarely do these days – and I am happy to see that it has already grown noticeably longer – and softer – since I last did so. Worn with black eyeliner, and a little olive green liner on the lower lid, I actually quite liked it like this. I am still growing it long again, though.
This morning I had a bit of a shop, and got a few things: a bag, a pair of cream crochet tights (yay! They're from the '60s, in their original packet, and still in good nic) and the pink knitted beret. I will show these soon, but would like to have a few more things to show with them – which, with the way I am feeling these days, will hopefully be within a week. I am hoping to go on my first DFO trip this weekend, and I have some things on my wish list that I really want/need... I've certainly waited long enough! I am rather looking forward to it.
