powder blue

Another beautiful Spring day here in Melbs... I took a break from things to meet up with my fiance for lunch at a local cafe. It is actually called Min Lokal, and is in the back streets of Fitzroy. The houses and their gardens 'round here are very pretty, especially at this time of year.

cardigan – witchery, shoes – sportsgirl
dress – vintage
belt, tights – thrifted (tights thrifted new, of course)

I guess some things don't change; today I wore my powder blue tights with a vintage silk dress, my grey cardigan and my big t-bars. After weeks of wearing only black tights and then only white ones, the burst of colour felt quite new again.

And I am getting somewhere (slowly but surely) with my hair, which survived my bike helmet more or less in tact! Progress! I must say that I am wanting to blonde again... or maybe even red for a while...

Tomorrow, if the weather is still nice, I am going to go on a bike ride and picnic. I have just done a lot of dull things that needed doing, inclduing tax returns, and definitely need the break. I'm not sure what to wear... but this afternoon, I quickly tried on a red sun dress at a local vintage shop I've been meaning to do a post on for ages... red and blue florals, pleated and boned body, and a good fit – temptation..! Maybe if the tax return fairies are nice to me!

And I will do some posts on these vintage shops, as they really are lovely and a little out of the way... so, soon, I promise!

i covet your t-bars. SO BAD. gorgeous outfit, gorgeous location, gorgeous model :) and i think you'd look great with red hair, by the way. I'm getting bored with mine at the moment but I'm not sure what to do with it.

Oh I do love these photos and your powder blues tights are such a great colour!

Isn't it funny how with the proper change of season, we all start thinking about our hair colour? I've always had a secret desire to be all blonde but I just can't picture it!

How sad to think I'm missing all these lovely days, when I'm cooped up in the office- though you images are so clear and beautiful I feel like I'm outside in the sunshine!
The tights are such a nice burst of colour, without being too much.

I am loving this lady like look that you have been doing, it suits you so well. And I love those baby blue tights!! A bike and picnic sounds lovely, unfortunately we are having the most nasty dreary weather ever here!! And it just hit me, in those last two pictures you look SO much like Kate Beckinsale, really it's an uncanny resemblance!
Ciao dear <3
