they said it woud rain...

...and I don't have all that many shoes to wear in the rain . I have got so used to it being dry here that I find myself with plenty (oh, plenty) of shoes, but not so many that will be suitable for a downpour. One way to fix that – a few clicky clicks here and there on a few websites and that little problem will be solved. Today I wore my trusty target shoes; patent (= waterproof), and platform (= good for stepping over puddles). It was dark and grey this morning, so a cashmere and silk skirt, soft wool cardigan and ankle socks were comforting, and brightened with a purple pussy bow. Oh, and where is my favourite place to get pure cashmere and silk knit skirts from? Savers, of course :)

So. I return after a little absence, only to disappear again... this time it was thanks to a particularly tedious cold. Things have really been gathering dust around me, so now I am up and about and almost back to normal I think this is a good time for a little house keeping. A few weeks ago, an especially lovely little birdy told me they were missing from my links list, which was completely a boo boo on my behalf. If you would like to be added, please let me know.
