sailor dress

sailordress4

Hello, sailor! I think you will know what this is...

sailordress2

... yep, one of those sailor dresses that were all over the blogosphere a little while ago. I loved them then, and finally got hold of one on ebay a couple of weeks ago (where they seem to really vary in price, and it looks like I got a bargain. Oh, good.). I wore it on this hot Sunday to go and have a relaxed breakfast, and then come back home to do not very much at all. Bliss.

It's a perfect summer dress. The ruching under the bust gives it just that nice bit of shape.

I love the shoes you paired it with! This dress looks like it was made for you.

I like it a lot! I am not really a low-cut person, but I like it in this dress because it looks a little more updated and a little less full-on vintage... if that makes sense?

How cute! I love that you've combined it with red shoes.
