1950s grey dress (with a sailor bow)

Photobucket

Every now and then I have a good long look in my wardrobe, and take note of the things I have – and, of course, the things I don't. As in, what I don't have but what I need. I really needed some vintage winter dresses, and so recently I got me a few; here is the first of this round.

This pale grey 1950s dress is good for winter; it's warm and soft, and it has that lovely tie at the front, which is a detail I really like. The dress is designed to sit quite loose on top, but I think I might alter this to make it a little more snug... we'll see. I love that I can change the little cream bit with other colours, too. And grey goes with so many colours... I will show the rest of the booty very, very soon xxx

The dress is beautiful and cute! I really need some vintage winter dresses. But now it's impossible to think of winter, because I'm about to die of the heat. I can't believe it's this hot in Finland!

Verrry lovely. I'm crazy about the style of this dress, and the tie/bow in front. Is the cream bit one of those snap-in insets? I've been running into a lot of those recently.

That dress is very awesome. Love the grey - such a nice shade. I just went on a bit of a dress binge and bought THREE dresses - one from Etsy and the others from Ebay.
Currently very obsessed with wiggle dresses ehehee.

I also just found my way here and wow, what a great style you have! Your hair is really beautiful (I found myself thinking whether dark brown would suit me as well, but I'm afraid not... Guess I just have to stick with red).

Clicked this to my favorites, so shall certainly come here again!
