casual, headscarf days

headscarf d

Last Monday I had some errands to run, and just wanted a super-simple fix to hair in need of some attention. It was about 30C, too, which did mean having my hair up felt pretty good! For eleventy hundred reasons (but they are reasons, not excuses, I swear!), each as boring as the next, I haven't finished painting my room – actually, lies, I have, except the built in robe doors, but everything needs to be moved around into some sense of nice. This is the colour I chose, and me and my blouse and my headscarf are matching with it quite nicely, I think!

While we are here – is there anything you would like to ask me? What would you like to see on the blog? I feel like having a bit of a shake up of things around here :)

Ballerina slipper pink is your color!
Marianne! As per your question: I love seeing your beautiful outfit pictures. Tutorials are fun too--hair, make-up, and more.
Could you show us what inspires you also?
Have a lovely day!

Gina

Love the winged eyeliner.

I would like to know more about your retro makeup, and maybe more on how to wear/tie the headscarf.
:D

Love your blog and ogle your clothes INCESSANTLY.

Since you're asking, I'd love some tips on how you do your hair and makeup!

On your blog? Hmmm. I follow because of the outfit posts. You do take fab 'atmospheric' photos of them - my fave was the 'witchy' one. Also, if I may make my opinion heard (please don't take it wrong) you are like ten million times cuter *without* the bangs (just my humble opinion)... ***runs for cover***

That pale pink suits you very well!

(Oh, how I'd love to have 30C instead of 10 below here in Oslo right now!)

Thanks, I think my husband agrees :)

Thanks, just everyday eyeliner. Won't leave the house without it at the moment. :) Oh, I don't do anything special with make up, but maybe I could put something together… just had a thought. Yes! I only tie headscarves in a basic way, sometimes knot at the top, sometimes underneath my hair at the back…

‪KC‬ said...
Thanks very much! Like I've been saying above, I don't do anything so special but I'll see about doing something… :)

Oh, cool, I think a lot of people liked the witchy one, and I was worried it wouldn't really work at the time. Doing those ones are my favourite to do, a lot of the time. Oh and haha don't worry, come out from there! I think almost everyone I know prefers me without the fringe/bangs :) I like it but I won't like it for too much longer, if that makes sense.. ?

Thanks :) I used to be a bit unsure about them, too, but then… I dunno, I just got over it! :)

Yes of course! They are

Panasonic RP-HTX7 Retro Piano Painted Headphones (Pink)

and I got them from accessoryjack.com a couple of years ago. My very first online buy, of anything! Oh how much things have changed since then… ;) They *touch wood* are still working perfectly, look good as new and I love them :) Perfect for the trams! x

even though you might can't imagine how f***** freezing it is over here in europe i'd like to ask you whether you could give me some advice how to walk on glazed paths in high heels... you seem to be such an expert about elegant shoes :) i'd love to hear something about this.

I dont know if you would want to post on it, but I just started my blog and I am trying to figure out how to color my photos just right with free-editing programs online to get this perfect romantic glow.

I would love to hear from you :)

I'd love to know the lipstick as well. I have a very similar coloring as you (pale and darker hair). I've been searching for a red that looks good on me but I have a lot of pink in my skin and everything looks too orangy. :(
