curls in hot weather

heat curls e

I pin curled my hair last night, but made less curls than usual, and didn't use any product. It gave me really nice soft, big curls – which toady's very hot and windy (it's only 35C, how am I going to get through summer?!) weather promptly flattened. That'll teach me for not using setting lotion... anyway, this mornings food market trip done, I have loosely pinned them back up for dinner out tonight with some friends.

It is so grey and miserable in London right now, you wouldn't believe it. x

I hate it when the weather ruins a perfectly good set.

Summers here in Winnipeg (Manitoba, Canada) can be very hot and windy (we're on the prairies). So I totally relate.

Lovely photos (as usual) - I love the blue dress. I ordered a similar one from Annie Greenabelle, but sadly they emailed back to say they were out of stock : ( (Don't ask me why I'm ordering summer dresses in winter)

I did curls last night also - how do you do it, with pins? I slept in those soft foam sausage thingies and the curls stayed in very well the next day. I could have used some frizz-ease beforehand though : )

I was gifted some hot rollers at Christmas but alas it has been too hot in Perth to put hot rollers anywhere near my noggin! Your curls look lovely!
