nails and pink and what not

naildet d

Some little details from last Thursday...

naildet f

... moon nails and hair pins that aren't bows. (!) I think they match the dress pretty perfectly... but I forgot something!

That's better. I hope you are having a nice Monday :) I'm going to cook dinner now, see you later! x

hair pins from little salon

EDIT: Hehe I need to explain that I have been engaged for hundreds and hundreds of years, and I just forgot to put my ring on in the first pic... and thought the ring looked nice with the silver moons! Thanks for the nice comments though ;)

I wish I could do moon nails. I'm waaaaaaaaaaaay too much of a clutz to do them. Gorgeous print on your dress too, you remind me of a vintage Hawaiian hula girl - Well what I imagine one to be in my head.

I don't want to totally misread that 2nd last picture, but did you just get engaged? If so, congratulations! If not, forgive this girl who watches too much Lost and looks for clues in everything ;)

You take the greatest pictures; I lurk them too frequently and never comment. Anyways, to resolve this, I am telling you that I think that you are talented & beautiful. And I always look forward to your posts!

I simply adore your blog! It's so pretty and refreshing to look at! :) I love all things retro and your blog certainly has it!

Nice nails! I've been doing mine like this for a while now, it just suits me better. For the gals (much like me!) who can't do the half moon, purchase these circle stickers from a store that sells paper items (like Office Depot), cut them in half and stick them on before painting your nails in red.
They look just like this,
