cyclestyle give away!

The giveaway is now closed. Thanks for entering!

bibagiaw a

The lovely cyclestyle.com.au have generously offered this super cute set of double panniers as a gift for one lucky reader! Being someone who rides her bike a fair bit these days (slowly getting back up to past fitness levels, but I'm never going to catch up with the enduro-athlete-man, obviously) I know how much you need a way to cart all your bits and pieces about. Going to the market? The shops? The library? You can fit so much in these...

bibagiaw b

Now, how to win them? Easy:
  1. visit cyclestyle.com.au
  2. pick your favourite item
  3. leave me a comment here, telling me what this item is
and that's it. Simple!

I will close this on April 4th at midnight, and then pick a winner randomly. This gives you just over a week to pop in your entry... good luck!

Please note: this is open to Australian readers only.

Hi brandnewarmour and Esz – I had to move your comments from my old misspelled url post to this new and improved one, but don't worry, I have saved your links so your entries are very much valid! Thanks for entering x

I've been making eyes with the daily riding pants for a while now. It'd be nice to have a pair of trousers that dry quickly and don't give people an eyeful of my derriere when I'm leaning over my bike handles. :)

My knees don't let me cycle enough to justify entering (I'd rather these go to someone who'll use them loads and loads) but damn they're lovely! And damn my dodgy knees!

I gotta say — I am a sucker for the floral messenger bag.

Loving the skirt garter on cycle style! Being a 50's frock wearer, this little invention would save me from much embarassment as I cycle my way into Mullum town. Aren't there some clever little people out there??!!
Love your blog and love the bike!! I want one!!

Vote me in on the daily riding pants too. Slimming they say and comfy to boot - Whoo Hoo! We all need clothes that look good, feel good and are bike friendly.@bargoSal

There are so many wonderful things on this site, it's so difficult to choose just one! However, the Claude (or Petra) Waterproof trench coats are my favourite, simply for the fact they are chic and perfect for bike riding!

katiepie said...

With winter looming, I love the waterproof trench and reflective cape. I would so love to own these panniers, without a car shopping is a mission so these would make life breezy! Fingers crossed x

It's a difficult choice between pretty helmet and pretty basket! I'll go helmet because I do need a new one. I like the Ocean Flower Helmet best.

I have a red super elliot from the 1940's that would look so amazing with this apple pannier sitting on it!!
http://cyclestyle.com.au/shop/bags-and-panniers/double-panniers/apple-panniers/
Not only that, but it would be SO handy. Adelaide has been having some really bad weather and I've been finding it hard to carry things in the wet! Thanks for the chance to win! Ruby x x x x x

Hi Esme!

I love the oval wicker basket as my bike is woefully storage-less and I do all kinds of strange balancing manoevres to get my fruit and veg/books/gym gear from A to B! I also love the Jenny cape...not that I'm biased by its name!

Hi ... definately the Fast Rider Wicker Basket Oval. I am currently saving for a bike. I had to catch public transport this (not a common occurrence for me) & thought "if I had my bike by now I could ride that to uni!". Of course I would need somewhere for my books ... ahhh, I can but only daydream at this stage.

oh wow, the Jenny Reflective Cycling Cape is so gorgeous and very practical too.. plus, it'd bring so much drama to the average bike ride, swishing about in a cape such as that one.

Really an impossible task to pick just ONE thing, however... the ocean flowers helmet really is a must... http://cyclestyle.com.au/shop/helmets/ocean-flower-helmet/.

Ooh, how fab is Kitsch Kitchen? I love the orange and white flowered panniers, but all of them are lovely. They remind me of a 70's kitchen sieve. Thanks for your lovely blog. It's one of my favs and makes me want to move to Melbs!

Hello!!
I absoloutely adore the Wicker Picnic Basket, it is adorable <3

Meg said...

What fresh bread lover could go past the Wicker Baker's Basket? That's one way to get more people on their bikes—following the smell of freshly baked sourdough as you pedal from the bakery home. Cup of tea and toast anyone?

Pip Pip said...

Today is FREEZING
So I think the item would be the Jenny reflective cycling cape (and doesn't the girl modeling look oh so familiar)

tunabake said...

Any of their Panniers would be so handy - I've just got my bike back from the shop after neglecting her for 2 years. My regular sunday morning trip to the op shop could benefit from some of these handy saddle bags.

Renae Stenhouse said...

Great giveaway! I love the panniers, but in addition, I love:http://cyclestyle.com.au/shop/baskets/wicker-bakers-basket/ A picnic basket that attaches to the bike back carrier!!

I love everything about CycleStyle... tough competition to enter - everyone wants to win so bad...!
But, I know my beautiful old red Cecil Walker would look so pretty with the Polkadot Panniers added.
Thanks for having me! x

I love to cycle and sing to myself, as a child of the 70's the disco reflective leg warmer would be so perfect! The red panniers would also look great on my black bike, they will be the best thing to store my rollar skates!

With Winter coming on in Canberra (5 degrees this morning! Brrrrr) I want to keep riding to work, but safety first too!
I love the Disco-bright Reflective Legwarmers!

PeanutButterHound said...

I got a new (old) ladie bike a few weeks ago called Valerie! I love her to death- but she is missing one very important thing- a basket! The oval wicker basket would suit her just fine!

It would be much better than wearing my handbag as a backpack!

Thanks for the chance!

I have been ogling the apple pattern double panniers (http://cyclestyle.com.au/shop/bags-and-panniers/double-panniers/apple-panniers/) for MONTHS.

I'm a second year nursing student who has observed, with much wryness, that in 1.5 years of studying about health, her own health has deteriorated due to suddenly spending approximately a million hours per week sitting and reading. In my old working life I'd be running about offices and walking at least 45mins per day for my commute. So - three weeks ago I freaked out and bought a bike! A bike that is for cycling to uni and desperately needs all the bags it can get for lugging ginormous nursing textbooks. Considering I live in Tasmania and apples are such a common symbol of health, those panniers feel like my match made in heaven.

Cheerio and besos!

What a lovely giveaway!
The Wicker Bakers Basket is great!

Hannah Law said...

Beautiful bike in the pictures - is it yours?
I have been checking out the Cycle Style helmets for a while now and think my favourite would be the sea foam one! It would suit my vintage step-through much more than the helmet I currently have - a black, speed-racing style one!! Haha, it's a cycle chic crime!

I have been eying off the RETRO CANVAS UTILITY PANNIER by Minnehaha Bag Co for months !!!!

the skirt garter is the best idea ever!! that would've been helpful in germany, although much less exciting for the passing cars.
http://cyclestyle.com.au/shop/baskets/mesh-folding-basket/ and this one! i may have to go on a shopping spree before i head back to germany...

Miss Emmi said...

It is hard to find a cute helmet, but I think their range is really good! The one in seafoam green is a suitable retro colour: http://cyclestyle.com.au/shop/helmets/sea-foam-helmet/

I love the idea of the daily riding pants! They look so comfortable and its so hard to find outifts that I'd be comfortable riding in, working in, being presentable in, not looking super daggy in etc! http://cyclestyle.com.au/shop/clothing/pants/daily-riding-pants-womens/
Such a great give-away, and your blog is absolutely awesome. :)

I love the pixie stix helmet - it would go perfectly with my shiny new bike (that I'm still a bit too chicken/unfit to ride).
