fringe curl

curlfri c

Hello! Great title, right? Well, that's ok. It is what it is. And what it is, really, is pretty small, but it's making me happy (and relieved!) all the same – I have found a way to deal with my growing-out fringe. Good good!

But could I take a clear picture of it today? No, of course not! It is really dark these days most of the time (rainy and cold and windy, brrr) so it can be a bit hard to take pictures of my dark locks inside here, even in the middle of the day. It makes me want to stay rugged up on the couch with the heater on, drinking tea and patting the cat. But I had already braved the elements before I took these. Definitely a good time for tea!

But, here it is! I have been putting in two pin curls before bed, and not only found that it works really well. I have found more than one way to keep my straight-and-rebellious fringe in check. This way here is just curls around the hairline. And I really like it!

Looks lovely! My fringe is at that tricky stage as well, and it can be so frustrating figuring out what to do with it. :)

It looks really cute - you decided to ditch the fringe then? I like a bit of a quiff when mine is growing out - on a bad hair day I do quiff plus a high ponytail, then give it a blast of hairspray, a nice way to 'do' the hair that's also lazy.

Your fringe looks lovely Esme.
^ u ^ I often wear my fringe on the side in a curl, but that's because my hair is naturally curly and I sometimes I cannot be bothered straightening it; rather than me trying to grow it out.

So pretty! I tend to do this sometimes too. So easy, and it's nice to have a soft wave to hide an eye behind :)
You look lovely :)

I love it. I always have problems with little fly away hairs. Thanks for the great tip!

So cute, I love my bangs but like them longish. I do the same thing, if I don't feel like straightening them in the morning!

I seem to constantly be stuck between bangs and growing out my bangs. It's a hopeless battle that is never won! You look wonderful.

It's perfect! Fringe may become a pain sometimes, but you've fixed it so well.

Your hair looks lovely. I wish I could have my fringe off my face but I've got a huge forehead, which I hate!

Hello, I loved your fringe but you look wonderful whatever you do with your hair. I imagine even bald you'd rock it. And that lipstick is perfect! xx

Ingenious. Looks great. A fashion trend in its own right. Maybe you should be growing it out forever?
