floral dress, floral bangles... and floral wedges

floral dress wedges d

So I think it's fair to say I quite like floral prints, then! This was meant to be a post about the dress I was wearing yesterday, but when taking the photos I somehow managed to make the hair gel on the dressing table behind me the one thing in focus. Oops. Here are the details, though.

I have been satisfying my recent craving for for bijoux, trinkets and baubles lately and got some bangles and bracelets. The three here go with my vintage maxi dress perfectly. As do the new hair flowers.

And my new shoes! Floral wedges! I finally found the perfect floral wedges, and I am SOOOO happy with them!

Thanks! x

Anon: haha it looks filthy! It's actually just the first coat of floor varnish and it has grey patchy bits. We'd need to do lots more layers of varnish, BUT we aren't happy with the colour and are going to sand back and start again..! :D

How pleasing to the eye! I like floral prints as long as they're not dowdy country looking..you've done a marvelous job with pairing florals together here! If I were a shoe thief, I'd totally steal yours, (meant as a compliment of course! :)

I for one think you can never have too much floral :) I love your hair here too... it has a certain Geisha quality that I think is stunning.

I love your floral wedges also! I have a pair that I'm dying to break out for this spring/summer. I was wondering if I could mix florals with them and now I'm quite certain that it works - thank you!

It's crazy how the wedges seem to transform this outfit from traditional girly floral to an almost Japanese look going on! It's cool!
