green lace and hair flowers

hair flowers wedding c

I went to a wedding on Saturday evening and this is what I wore. It made me realise I don't have all that many cocktail dresses. Hmmm. Might have to sort that out. My Mr quickly snapped these as we were on our way there, in the beautiful sunset. I also was at the opposite end of the hair neatness spectrum to Monday's post, with some rolls and plenty of hair flowers!

1950's mint green lace dress :: vintage, op shopped (this is a RARE thing!)
feather fluffy :: alannah hill
cream t bar platforms :: topshop
contrast seamed stockings :: errrrrrrmmmm, voodoo? I can't remember!

Beautiful outfit!
I found a similiar lace beauty in a local op shop in Brisbane recently. It is indeed a rare thing to find dresses like these. :)

You look simply stunning (as usual)! I love the collar. You always look so pretty and have such a great taste in clothes. What I wonder is how you have such great skin- I'm pretty pale and every little thing and flaw is so obvious yet you are even paler than me but it looks so smooth and flawless! How do you do it? Is it genetics or some big secret I just don't know? I envies! :)

I'm so in love with your T-shoes! The model reminds me of Christian Louboutin white t-shoes, that Dita wore recently. Anyway, you always look great, and that lace mint green dress is absolutely fantastic! And I love the way you broke a monotony of colors with the fabric roses. So beautiful!

Oh goodness lady, you are so beautiful! I feel like I say this in every post but it is true. Love the fluffy thing, looks like ostrich feathers to me! You were surely in danger of upstaging the bride there :P

Gorgeous outfit! Lately I've been thinking about sewing a dress in black lace fabric. Seeing this dress on you pushes me further in the direction of the sewing machine. Just need to get a pattern and some fabric first... :)

You look so glamorous. I really appreciate everyday glamour in a woman. That collar is fabulous.

In the first picture you look like you are having your picture taken by paparazzi. lol

Oh my goodness! This is one of the loveliest vintage outfits I've ever seen! Your hair and makeup are just smashing, too - I think girls with dark hair look natually more "vintage" because the contrast between black hair and red lipstick is quite obvious.
