Here is a cardigan I am happy to add to my wardrobe. I have been complaining about not being able to find good cardigans for far too long! There are definitely pluses about retro looks being in fashion at the moment.
This is the perfect vintage-style, cropped and fitted cardigan, and the faux fur collar is detachable, too. It's from Asos and I got it on sale, which gives it an extra tick of goodness. Of course, being used to the high quality that vintage offers means that I am going to add a grosgrain ribbon to the waist band to help it keep its shape. But I'm not complaining about that – I love my new cardigan!
I thought I wouldn't be wearing it for a few months, but our summer has been replaced with winter – there has been snow! – so I will get to wear it now. Happy.

How funny, I was just reading yesterdays post and up pops todays. I heard about the snow in vic - makes the mind boggle. Love the cardi. I saw one at some markets not so long ago - waited too long and it was snapped up by someone else. That will teach me :) I was wondering if the top of that dress was detachable by the buttons and becomes a Summer strapless dress?
It's snowing in Australia during your summer and yet it refuses to snow in Alberta during our famously brutal winters? Something is up.
In any event, that is a beautiful cardigan. I've been needing to get a few more vintage-inspired sweaters for myself this winter too.

That's a really nice cardigan! I love the little pearls on it! I got a red wiggle dress from the 80s with little pearls on it. It needs a few adjustments before I can wear it, but the style is so cute!

It's so hard to find cardigans (new ones that is!) that are the right length for wearing with full skirt dresses. Love this ASOS one.

Very cute and love the faux fur collar. Melbourne must have known you wanted to wear it, because it's turned on the perfect weather. Meant to say, I'm really loving your shorter hair. The last few pictures the styling has been spot on and really suits you.
