glittery nails

miss fox nails c

I have finally tried shellac on my nails! I have heard so much about it, so it is nice to see what it is like. I had my nails be-glammed in beautiful copper glitter, which is then protected by layers of shellac, at the divine Miss Fox in Melbourne. They are so sparkly, I love it!

The colour is perfect with my new hair, and they were done just in time for Melbourne's fashion week. They show no sign of wear four days later, and I use my right thumb to separate all those hair pins everyday... They feel really smooth too, which is nice – I thought glittery nails would have a rough finish that would snag on things, but no! I can't wait to try more colours... what next, do you think? Thank you Miss Fox!

Ooh, I don't really know much about "shellac"ing nails, but could you give us a run-down. for example how long are they expected to last 9and how long you find they last)? Is it more expensive than a normal manicure? x

The whole process looks so fun, I love glittery nails. I want to try out shellac as well but haven't managed to get around to doing it. Enjoy the mani!

Thanks guys!

Sarah: I will let you know how long they last etc! I'm not sure how much they cost, I'll ask next time! I thought the prices would be listed online but I can't find them either :)

Mrs Molly Doll: Shellacked toes sound amazing! What colour did you have?

Hi Sarah, I found the prices: $55 for a classic manicure, $65 for the shellac manicure :)

Shellac is just amazing iv been getting it done for ages and it lasts about two weeks with no chipping it is great for brittle nails as it stops them from breaking and peeling its not to dear here in Ireland only twenty euro. x Leo.
