giveaway: iconemesis phone cover – and bunny tea!

fifi cover a fifi cover e fifi cover b fifi cover f fifi cover d fifi cover c UPDATE: NOW CLOSED. THANKS FOR THE ENTRIES! WINNER ANNOUNCED SOON.
Hello! I finally have a cover for my phone. It is Fifi Lapin, wearing a tea cup! How cute is it?! I am chuffed to have a cover at last, and such a whimsical one at that. It’s a relief having some protection for my phone, and knowing that when I put it face down on something – as I often do, terrible, really – the screen won’t touch the tabletop or whatever and get scratched. It is from the lovely people at Iconemesis. Thanks guys, I love it!

It arrived in time for the weekend, and don’t those dots match my dress just so... it also inspired me to make tea, but not in mugs, as I usually do, but in our peachy pink teapot and with our vintage tea cups. I think bunny would approve, yes?

But the best bit is I am having a giveaway! Iconemesis have kindly offered a second cover for one of you. You can pick the cover of your choice from their website. Sound good?

To enter, it’s really easy. Just take the following steps:

– like their facebook, OR
– follow them on twitter, then
– leave me a comment (with an email address for you please!!! Please, this is so important) telling me what you love about having tea! A helpful hint: keep things whimsical, just like my bunny friend here :)

I will pick my favourite story and pass your details to Iconemesis, and then you can pick your cover! Yay!

I adore waking up in the morning and having my little bunny friend, Chomby, skip around my feet as I make my morning cup of earl grey! He is, of course, expecting his routine morning salad. As I make my breakfast, I prepare his roquette, bok choy, endive, with the tops of the strawberries that are going on my muesli. Occasionally he will do a little binky (leap of joy) as I put down his pretty bowl. When he is done he comes flying around the corner and up onto my lap to try and get to my breakfast too! I have to push him off as he reaches up to smell the strawberries in my mouth! My best friend (see my blog for photos of him!) :) I would love a gorgeous bunny cover for my phone!

So cute, followed them on FB & Twitter. I can't lie to you though, I'm not a tea fan. I don't mind making tea and in fact, I'm told I'm quite good at it - which is a bit odd considering I don't drink it myself!

Happiest Tuesday to you! Liked on fb, following on Twitter.

The best part of my day is sipping oolong tea in my glass conservatory during my baby's morning nap. It gives me a chance to warm up to the day, both literally and figuratively.

Thanks for the giveaway!

I love it! And I've just got my first iPhone so I certainly need something to protect it.

I like a nice cup of lady grey tea in the evening, watching the sun set over the hills. There is something about tea that is just so soothing.

Every time I have my Earl Grey in the morning it reminds me of my beloved Non. She passed away 16yrs ago. But my fondest memories are always having a cup of tea and a chat with her about all things wonderful (I started doing this with her at the age of 5, and I'm going to be 38 in July!). She was such an awesome, classy lady, and it's amazing to think how something as simple as a cup of tea can stir so many memories :)

Ho my God, I am so completely in love with this phone cover!!
I was already a huge fan of Fifi Lapin and this phone cover was on my wish list for months!

I love tea because it's warm and you can drink it at every moment of the day, and at every moment of your life...
This is something you drink when you're sad and you can't stop crying... When you're sick and it remebers you when your Mum brought you a cup of tea with honey in your bed when you were a child... When you have a heartache and it makes you feel a little warmer inside... When you learned something from life and you feel a little lost... But also when you just learned a good new and you smile as if the world was the best place ever....
When you meet someone, you offer him a cup of tea to break the ice...
When you wake up in the middle of the night because of a nightmare, you drink a cup of tea and the you feel better...
When you feel as if nothing was happening the way you would like, you drink a cup of tea and then it feels a little less hard...
I have so many memories of good moments over a cup of tea...
And as the Mentaist would say "It's a hug in a cup" ;-)

AHHHHH I MIGHT JUST DIE OF THE WHIMSICAL CUTENESS!!!!!

I love tea.
But before I loved tea I loved the smell of tea. And I loved how it made me feel all gown up and sophisticated that time I was at my year 11 formal. :P

Now that I drink tea I like to take it with a teaspoon of brown sugar. It makes it so treacley and sweet and extra yummy. I love tea because you can drink it in terribly cute tea cups. And of course tea cups reminds me of Alice in Wonderland! And you can drink it at any time BUT when you are sad tea is the drink to turn to. :D

Thanks for the amazing giveaway! My email address is as follows : britney.lemonwoodandhoney@gmail.com

The best thing about having tea, is you can share it with anyone. You can also drink it cold, hot, flavored, in the mornings, in the evenings, or have a tea party with your fluffiest friends. This is what any child can teach you, as they have taught me. Tea, always tea. :)

you know, when it comes to tea, i like herbal tea. what i love about it is the taste and the calmness it comes with it. it doesn't matter where you drink tea, the world is in zen whenever you have a cup.

My favorite thing about having tea is that it gives me an excuse to spend a little time in a corner of the backyard to read, or sit in the window box and stare out the window like I did as a child.

tea is the perfect way to start a day.

I wake up in the morning with the sunlight coming through my windows and onto my face. The little birds are singing about Spring and the lovely morning. My little bichon frise puppy Lucy wakes up and gives me a "Goodmorning!" snuggle and licks. I make my way from my room to the kitchen to make some lovely jasmine green tea! I love tea and prefer it over coffee any day! I wait for my kettle to whistle and poor the hot water into my favorite Anthropologie mug. I sit down to a good cup of tea and a Jane Austen novel and my morning is complete.

Tea is like therapy for me. When something is bothering me or when I need to think about things, having a cup of tea is the ideal moment to think about it.
Of course, I enjoy tea when I'm happy too :)

My name is Katrina and I am addicted to Tea!!

Even when I was little I loved tea, so much so my mum would fill my tea set up with warm water and pop in a real tea bag, my jug with milk and sugar in my bowl.

I would make my teddies real tea, one for Mr Bruce the brown bear with sugar as he love sweet things, one for Scruffy 5 my shaggy dog with milk only and Molly my doll who liked her tea without anything.

Tea time always included cakes but they never felt like cake so I had to eat it all :)

Even now sometimes when I sit with my tea and a little cake I think back to that time and smile to myself. I wonder if when I have children they will do the same, I kinda hope they do.

If I got to chose I would have to have the same one you have, because a girl who loves tea as much as me couldn't possibly chose any other :)

What a cute phone cover! I think I am going to buy an iPhone soon (my first smart phone eee I feel so grown-up lol) so I'm looking at covers right now, actually. Exciting!

I love drinking tea, especially when I'm at work - it gives me a little break, an excuse to get up from my desk and walk around. I have a little "tea for one" teapot (sorry, I don't know exactly what they're called :\ It's the kind that has a little pot that sits on a cup!); it's really cute & makes me smile when I get to use it. Nothing like pouring a cup of tea out of an actual teapot. I love drinking really flowery teas, the kind that smell amazing before & after they are brewed. And as a plus, I'm always cold here at work, so the tea warms me up & makes me feel all cozy & satisfied.

Unfortunately, I just got a mad hankerin' for a cup of tea writing this comment, and I realize I left the canister in my kitchen after I brought it home to make a sick weekend a little happier. Boo!

The chatter of long lost friends.
The purr of a cat on a lap.
The laughter of happy children.
The playful twitter of birds in the trees.
The lapping of gentle waves on the sand.
The giggling of two best friends.
THe quiet clicking of knitting needles.
The secret whispers of lovers.
The peaceful sound of solitude.
None of these sound better than when they are paired with the sipping of a comforting cup of tea.
