what I really want to do today

MA mask
All I want to do today is stay in bed, read my favourite blogs and watch DVDs, with lots of hot tea to hand and Babycat purring away by my side. I really feel like watching Marie Antoinette – I love that film! Having a cold is so annoying, and always, always happens when you have a lot to do. So I am drinking lots of ginger tea (as in sliced fresh ginger and hot water, it's amazingly helpful and good) and looking forward to a point somewhere in the (near, please!) future when I'll be getting enough sleep. I wonder if eye masks could ever be something we could wear in everyday life without looking like robbers? It would be most helpful for hiding this I-have-a-cold face! x

Oh my gosh, do not talk to me about sleep. It is 1am here and I am slogging away at a PhD, not an activity conducive to a good nights sleep! (hope that makes you feel comparatively better than at least some other poor soul out there!)(BTW in case my supervisor is reading this I am doing this on my study break)(!). I too love a good DVD, you should watch some of the old 80s ones, I just watched 'Say Anything' with John Cusack, which is one of the very few 80s movies I have never seen. Very good. Best of luck with the sleep (and please excuse this very long comment, blame it on my lack of sleep!)(please feel free to edit it as you like!)

I wish I was doing that too... :( But I don't have a cat, maybe I could buy one of those creepy purring, and real-looking toy cats?

hehe

I feel the same way except I'm just lazy not sick. I have a test tomorrow and I really just can't concentrate on studying. I just want to paint or sew or watch movies all day long. But I know I can't. >.<
I'm in for a very long night.
I hope you feel better soon.

Feel better soon! Take your time and rest: there's nothing better. And movies such as Coppola's ones, can help;)

Babycat! the cuteness of the name just gets me every time, adorable! I am fanatical about fresh sliced ginger in a cup of hot water, amazing stuff and great for so many things! I'm sofa bound today with lady pain + my usual joint pain so we can lounge in solidarity :D

Vintagesuburbia: oh my gosh, that must be so stressful! Just think, you will be a doctor soon! That is very amazing! 80s film sound like a splendid idea ;) xxx

angelaseeangelablog: do they actually exist..?! Wow! ;D

Kimmy: studying is far worse than a dull old cold. Good luck with it all! It's so stressful but you get through it and it's all over soon :) x

the pink kitten: I love that too, but sometimes I need the straight up ginger hit!

Kitty: oh lucky! Did you see them filming (I guess you did!)! That would've been extra amazing!

Lulu: I hope you feel better soon! I would have loved to lounge in solidarity but I had too much work today, same tomorrow... ha! x

Debs: isn't it annoying! Get better soon! x

Get better, we all have colds over here too! I love that movie, have you caught that one party in which they slip in a pair of pink converse, into the scene?

That sounds like the perfect day! Unfortunately I think it's a no to the face mask question. You would probably always look like a robber. ;)

Fräulein.Perlon: and it shall be executed one fine day... maybe!

Rochelle New: oh, I know, and her pink hair with the flowers! Want!

Trina44: oh no, get better soon to you too! Ah, I love that seen! But in my mind they are blue converse..? Guess I'll have to watch it again to check ;) x
