Sponsored Series by Nuffnang

Yep, another Tuesday, another giveaway! This is the fifth of seven giveaways in the Schweppes series. I'm really enjoying being able to give you some good things and say thank you, because you are the best!

This week's prize: 2x Loccitane Handcream worth $40 each.

Today's word is "nurture". That instantly brought to my mind the plants I am growing at home to get a lush green jungle going, the organic, locally grown fruit and veg I've been cooking and eating (it's amazing, I couldn't go back because yes, you really CAN taste the difference) and how I look after my loved ones; and then how I take care of myself.

I've been taking extra care of my skin in recent weeks. It has really taken a battering this winter from all different directions, and my under-eye circles are out of control! I am dealing with each of the causes, and have a new, all-powerful concealer and corrector combo (more on that soon!) and have finally, after so many recommendations, tried coconut oil as a general, all round moisturiser. So far, I love it! Now, I just need to find the perfect eye cream...

I've also been trying to take extra EXTRA care of my hands and nails, as they really suffer in the cold weather. Sunday night manicures are becoming a regular part of my week, although the manis aren't always lasting the full seven days! I do find that having well-kept hands and nails makes me that much happier. It might be a small detail but it can mean quite a bit.

So, today, I'd like you to tell me: What nurturing do you do for yourself? Are you another nails gal? Regular facials? (I've GOT to try a facial, I've NEVER had one. I know!) Weekly massages (lucky you!), or even something more active, such a yoga? Swimming? Whatever it is, leave a comment along with your email address and you could win. Yays! Please remember you must be an Australian resident to be eligible; full terms and conditions are here.

When I'm feeling a bit blah, I switch to herbal tea. But for me, it's all about being organic, taste and packaging (very shallow, I know, but a nicely packaged box of tea makes me happy).

I nurture myself with a once a week (sometimes twice!) hot bath with bath oil. I love soaking away any aches from working while reading a book and getting out with super soft skin.

I don't do any paid activities such as facials or manicures (bit expensive and I can't justify them at the moment!) but I do love a nice relaxing bath with music. I try to have one a week... and I try to keep the kids from coming into the bathroom while I'm there!

I love to take care of myself with my morning ritual of washing my face. Combined with a light facial scrub and some cold water it certainly puts a rose in my cheek!

With two little ones and another on the way, there's not much time for nurturing but when I do have the opportunity, it involves a new interiors magazine, Irish breakfast tea, a piece of yummy cake (I'm not fussy!) and silence - bliss!

What I do is kind of odd,
However I can do it secret (thank god!),
I moisturize my feet before bed
I then put socks on...enough said!
In the morning my feet are as soft as a baby's behind,
Come on, give to a try...I promise I have not lost my mind!

I have an 8 month old baby and run a small business from home, so to get the time to nurture myself is a bit of a struggle sometimes, but when I can I love to dress up like a pin up girl , do my hair and make-up, and create beautiful jewellery out of antique cutlery. My partner often gets a kick out of coming home to a pin up girl with a hammer and mini grinder in hand not to mention a big smile on her face, and her new jewellery she never had to leave home for!!

Why don't you go vegetarian? You are so perfect, and you should show people a good example. You look so sweet, so how can you eat animal corpses?..

When I'm feeling blah, I like to eat the perfect corpses of anonymous blog commenters. Always relaxes me.

I sit back with a nice bowl of fruit salad while resting my feet in a comfortable hot foot bath

Animal corpses? o.0 It's a lot easier than taking a bite out of a live animal I guess.

I nurture myself by setting aside time for hobbies when I'm feeling really stressed out. Mostly for me, this is reading, cooking and sewing, but it depends on what my enthusiasm lands on that week. :P

I really enjoy a walk around the local river for nurturing and clearing my mind. It's my time to breath in the fresh air and enjoy some peace and quiet or music. Even though it's exercise, I find it relaxing!

I always shut out the negatives in my life as they sap my emotional energy, take the dogs down to the beach and come home and snuggle up with my daughter and a takeaway to watch Love Actually. It is our little ritual.

I send my body to the local day spa and get a good rub and soak session.

I like to nuture my body with natural and organic moisturisers. Regular skin care is too agressive for my sensitive skin and I find that natural beauty products made with essential oils works better on me.

I've just started getting monthly massages. I treated myself to one for my birthday, and it made such a huge difference to the way I felt that I've made it a monthly ritual. My new habit has killed my tension headaches, improved my sleeping and given me a real energy boost.

I can't afford beauty treatments at the moment, so my treat is to close my business (business is really slow) for an hour or so and go and walk along the beach. On the weekends, I try and spend an hour reading on the beach, surrounded by beauty and doing something I love, I feel refreshed and renewed.

For me it's junky tv - waiting all week for my favourite programs to air, it's such a treat to snuggle into bed with my dogs and catch up on my favourite shows!
I've never had a facial either and I'm dying to try! :)
