pink saturdays and a bit of sunshine

pink hair flowers fitzroy c
What I wore last Saturday (eee!)(catching up!) in Fitzroy. It's been a bit of a bad week but last Saturday was beautiful, sunny, and warm – again! I swear, Melbourne's winters are actually mostly pretty cold and grey and miserable and definitely need more than cardigans but our Saturday keep getting special weather for some reason! The dress is vintage, the cardigan is old, from Forever New (and is lasting really well, I'm impressed) the tights are old and also Forever New, I think (and also lasting incredibly well, I'm ever more impressed!), the shoes are Jeffrey Campbell and the bag is asos. Hope you're having a great weekend! x

I love how your hair and dress match so perfectly; and the accent of your shoes! As always, a stunning visual feast. Plus, I love your bag. I tend to forget to take pictures while carrying my handbag, but I love how yours fits in so nicely. :3

Goodness, you're blossoming among the beautiful blossoms! What gorgeous pics and that includes you!!! Isn't it incredible that we never question the quality of vintage, yet we have so many issues with buying new clothes we're afraid will fall apart after a couple of washes? Your lovely cardi has lasted well:)) xo

Yeh, haven't our weekends been glorious lately? Dont know why Melbourne's weather gets such a bad rap - I love it (except when some summers get crazy hot). I noticed all the blossoms we're out the other day. Your hair color is the perfect spring shade - so pretty! xx

Hi Esme! My name is Wren and I'm from all the way over in Florida. I've been following your blog for a little while now and thought I would let you know that it is very inspiring for me. I enjoy the whimsical and artistic nature of your photos -- keep it up! :) Also, even though I have tried to watch your tutorials I still don't know how you do it -- you make it seem so easy! I have curly hair & tried to set my hair anyway (LOL) and it was memorable to say the least. Anyway, I really appreciate your strong personal style sense & hope you're having a great day! The pink hair suits you, as did the red :) I don't have a blog myself so I'm going to post this as "anonymous"--

I love that dress and your pink hair. I'm also very envious of your beautiful Melbourne winter. Here in the Mid-Atlantic United States we don't necessarily get a lot of snow anymore, and sometimes the temperature can be quite mild (although we always need our winter coats!), but we definitely don't have flowers in bloom. Everything looks dry and barren.

I'm impressed with how there are flowers on the trees and bushes in winter!

The pink is so cute throughout the outfit and hair.

So cute! With your pink hair and that dress you look like cotton candy! Love it!

Both the dress and your hair looks fantastic!

YOU, my dear, are ready for Spring!

Great colour choice for your hair... my skin tones never matched up for any tints like this when I was white blonde and when I tried ginger it faded too fast. I'm excited by the sunshine today, can't wait to see some photos of your new hair in the sun! YAY!

I seriously love your hair so so much! It looks amazing on you! I've been thinking about having pink hair but haven't done it yet. I may have to try soon after seeing how beautiful it can look! You really do look gorgeous with it and I love how your outfit works perfectly with it too. That pink dress is super pretty!
