Hello! Happy Tuesday! I hope you have had a great weekend and are enjoying your week. I am loving the sunshine today and after spending two wonderful days in Tasmania to visit MONA, wearing sensible flat shoes and one day of intense gales and the other with lots of rain, I am VERY excited to be wearing my favourite colourful 1950's dress and some ridiculously high platforms. I pranced like a jaunty pony today, believe me.

But first: today is the final day of the schweppes giveaway! It was due last week, but we held off so I could post about MSFW... and then of course I got sick. I am more or less better now, but completely bored of it so am pretending to be completely all good, but flying with sinus issues is not exactly fun! SO so worth it though. I will post about it all soon!

So: today's word is revitalise. Today's prize: 1x Beauty/Spa day pack worth $150

Sounds pretty good. I want it actually but I can't, obviously, and anyway as I just had an amazing mini break I don't think I can say I need one too badly just yet. But a day at a spa has to happen for me soon! Just having a little bit of time away, doing something so different from my usual routine, has definitely been incredibly revitalising for me. I am fully recharged and really looking forward to blogging again, and getting back on top of things. I am all Duracel-bunnied but in a good way!

Now, I'd like you to tell me: how do you revitalise yourself?

The rules: leave an email with your comment (so I can contact you if you are a lucky winner) and you must be an Australian resident... I know, I do so hope to do some international giveaways very soon. Full terms and conditions are here.

Good luck! x

I like to cook; I find it tranquil
And once I let my mind go blank, will
Bake up sweet potato fries.
That's how I revitalise.

When I'm feeling really sketchy
I love getting super-stretchy
When my nose can touch my thighs,
That's how I revitalise.

Since it's always cold and raining
Ballarat can be quite draining.
Hot tea with honey is always wise -
That's how I revitalise.

But on the odd day that it's actually sunny
I give Lance Armstrong a run for his money,
Riding my bike under clear, blue skies.
That's how I revitalise.

And when I've had a huge, insane day
Reading Esme and the Laneway
Gives me dreams of floral dresses,
Curly blonde/pink/red/black tresses,
Eggs at Melbourne brunch addresses -
Can you guess where all my stress is?
Yes, it's saying its goodbyes!
That's how I revitalise.

I Revitalise by having a hot bubble bath with a muscle soak in it and candles lit around the bathroom :)

I try to go for a walk, or head to the gym each day and allow the endorphins to flow through me.

Also, I try to find something to smile about each day to make me happy.

I revitalise with yoga and time alone. I think I once heard introverts reenergise by being alone and extroverts reenergise by being around others. I am definitely an introvert.

When I need to revitalise I need sleep but if its a warm day I like to put on a summer dress, grab a book and ice tea and head to the back yard to lie in the sun with my cat snuggles. I will quite often bring my ipod and listen to anything from Taylor Swift & Lady Antebellum to The Phantom of the opera, what can I say, I'm a quirky music theatre geek

oh what creative comments you have already.
I revitalize with a sneaky nap on the couch or a nice cup of tea.

I revitalise myself at least once a week, in a relaxing bath with scented candles.. having the kids babysat is quite often a struggle, but easier that way as I know I can't be disturbed.!

I always start by putting myself in the moment - any time a thought about the past or future comes into my head I dismiss it immediately!

Then I think about what I really feel like doing - sewing, reading, cooking, lying on the couch patting my cat?

Step 3: profit. Or rather, relax, revitalise and refresh!

I revitalise myself with a nap, followed by a cup of tea and some yoga. This three-step routine always helps when my head is in a tizz.

my favourite way to revitalise is to put on a pretty dress (& since it's still so cold in Melbourne, several more layers, usually involving wool, gloves & a coat!) & go for a walk to my 3 favourite op shops.
it's so relaxing & is made even better if i manage to find a bargain! <3

Lately revitalising has been in the form of just a cup of tea on the balcony, or the pleasure of just sitting in a pool of sunlight for a bit, warming up, and letting go.

I revitalize by getting up early and going for a bush walk on our farm, getting close to nature always does it for me. Then when I get back from the walk it's yoga and meditation, all definately worth the early start because I'm totally revitalized.

I revitalize with a coffee and my Kindle first thing in the morning on the back patio. I love listening to the birds and the peace. It helps me recharge and I can then face the day ahead:)

In my pre-mummy days I would revitalise with lunch with a girlfriend, we'd natter and purge our dramas and I'd head home feeling much better.
Now, in my stay-at-home-mummy phase of life, I revitalise in silence. Folding washing, dusting furniture, have a quick snooze, so long as it's quiet. That's all I want - silence!

I revitalize by painting. I am not artistic, but, when I use oil crayons I find it hypnitising, after a while I havnew evergy and sometime a 'work of art' to my eyes only!
