a great night out and a giveaway!

spring summer dress ups makeup  Sponsored by Nuffnang

It’s warm, the sun is shining, and I can take my jumper off – Spring is definitely here! I am looking forward to wearing summery dresses and platform sandals and no tights; bare legs time! lime crime eyeliners summer I bought this dress quite a few months ago and I’ve worn it a couple of times, but it really is meant for warmer weather. I can’t wait to wear this in the coming months, and have a few pairs of shoes it will go with. I wonder if I will wear my floral head band from a couple of years ago again this summer? I am leaning towards yes! I also look forward to wearing different makeup styles. Lots of blusher and some colourful eyeliners will be fun to play around with. flower crown illamasqua blusher summer dress babycat paw summer dress babycat tongue Babycat of course new it was photobomb time and promptly hopped on the dress. She did not care for my artistic arrangement of my eyeliners and sent them flying with her speedy paws, and then got on with some leg grooming. Rather appropriate for a Veet post, I think! I look forward to trying Veet soon, and enjoying some salon smooth legs in the comfort of home. babycat pink beans deco clips in hair a deco clips in hair b vintage dress black collar b A few weeks ago, Friday 14th September, I headed into the lovely Miss Fox salons for a Veet party hosted by Nuffnang. I managed to take some photos before I left. I wore a vintage pink dress with my black beaded collar to make it a little more evening, and a black and silver glittery cardigan with vintage lilac sweater guards to match my newly lilac’d hair. I also added some vintage dress clips and my Mimco earrings to my hair do for a bit of sparkle. I love hair ornaments and really enjoyed wearing them like this. In fact, getting ready was really fun all round. I haven’t enjoyed it that much for ages. vintage dress black collar a pimms fizz The party was of course lovely. Non-alcoholic delicious drink for me on arrival with summery fruits – yum! The creme brulee was amazing. Of course I got stuck in traffic and then on a slow train and got there a bit late and the beauty treatments were in full swing. There was lots of great hair, great makeup and great nails. Great girly party! creme brulees creme brulee party bloggers And now for some more good times:

I'm not usually one to enter competitions, but being Greek, body hair is the BANE OF MY LIFE. So here goes.

This spring, I'm looking forward to losing the hangups I have around my appearance and doing/wearing what I want. Spring is usually a pretty awkward time for me - as winter ends and I shed layers of clothes, the pressure to look a certain way intensifies. This spring I'm throwing caution to the wind, breaking out the garish prints, and wearing whatever the hell I want!

Your outfit is very cool.

Veet products are pretty good. I like the cream stuff.

I'm international, so I won't enter. But good luck to everyone :)

Haha too cute! Looks like fun... I declined this sponsorship because I didn't want to post about hair removal products on my blog but sort of regretting it now as I would have loved to have gone along and met other bloggers! I think you've posted about this really nicely x Sushi

How gorgeous does your night look!?!
Ohh I saw those kits on an ad the other night - they look so easy! I'm a waxing newbie, so this might help me break into it :)
I'm looking forward to trying out a new hair colour this Spring - I've done pink, bright red, and blue, so I'm thinking it's time for lilac :)
Also looking forward to trying so new yummy recipes - I've challenged myself to make one new recipe every week until the end of November! Eeek!

I would really like to start wearing some cute dresses. I've just lost almost 10kg, so I'm not quite so embarrassed to show a little leg! My legs are blindingly white though and a little hairy from hiding away in the safety of pants for so long!

Thank you for wanting to know what we are interested to wear this Spring. This is great because you are really trying to know your readers.

For me, I would love to start coming out with more vintage clothing. This is a great interest to me because this era had started the fashion trend, of women wanting to look beautiful in their own fashion. Therefore, I will take a challenge of gathering vintage clothing, taking risks of being the unusual in this world of certain catagorized women, and live a life of adventure because fashion is truly an adventure.
