pink vintage skirts and pink australiana

pink vintage skirt black h In the Melbourne Spring hot vs. cold day-by-day battle of the weather, last Sunday the hot won. I wore my vintage full skirt with a plain black tee shirt and my new black floral wedges. I've hardly ever found good summer tops, and so decided to give the simple tee a try – and I' m very happy with it. Tied at the waist, it should see me through summer.

These were taken late in the afternoon on another pretty, super-leafy inner Melbourne street. Those brushy plants are usually red, so I was rather pleased to find a lone bush of bright pink ones among the more familiar scarlet. Most appropriate with my skirt! pink vintage skirt black e pink vintage skirt black b pink vintage skirt black d pink vintage skirt black g pink vintage skirt black j pink vintage skirt black i pink vintage skirt black a pink vintage skirt black f

Love that skirt. I have the same problem with tops, and since it is so hot in Brisbane, I tend to stick to basic singlets to go with my vintage skirts.

Love the print on your skirt. Vintage prints are so much more interesting then modern commercial prints.
Sweet post

What warm, upliftingly beautify summer photos. The pops of pink are especially sweet for me, as pink is by far my favourite hue.

Love your skirt, the pattern is fabulous!

I practically live in tshirts and full skirts during summer. They're the best combo. :)

I love the skirt's geometrical pattern. And the pink Australian flowers seem to me so fabulous especially as we are going in the opposite direction and there isn't any flower in my garden any more cause it was made ready for winter. Have happy warm spring days!

Iliska Dreams: I feel your pain! Hehe it's hard when it's so hot in summer :)

April Sharman: I did, and it's just a casual (and rather wind and car blown, by the time we took those pics!) but I'll do a post on it.

Teresa: yes! SOooooo comfortable.
