pink vintage skirts and pink australiana

In the Melbourne Spring hot vs. cold day-by-day battle of the weather, last Sunday the hot won. I wore my vintage full skirt with a plain black tee shirt and my new black floral wedges. I've hardly ever found good summer tops, and so decided to give the simple tee a try – and I' m very happy with it. Tied at the waist, it should see me through summer.

These were taken late in the afternoon on another pretty, super-leafy inner Melbourne street. Those brushy plants are usually red, so I was rather pleased to find a lone bush of bright pink ones among the more familiar scarlet. Most appropriate with my skirt!
