vintage roses in winter

vintage-rose-sundress-in-winter Well, what do you know? After our huge rain storm (the thunder! I've never heard anything like it) in Melbourne on Friday night, chased up by a drizzley Saturday, our Sunday turned on the golden sunshine. Not bad for the second day of winter. Not bad at all! And, just as I said I might, I did – I wore that new pink rose print vintage sundress. Tights, a sparkly cardi and equally – matching, even – shoes (newies!) was plenty to keep warm. Sometimes, Melbourne, just sometimes, you bring out some pretty damn fine weather. x

I also took the opportunity to summer dress, well with tights and a jacket - today to me was the perfect temperature!

I think you would have to be one of few people in the blogosphere who might love rose-printed dresses as much as I do!

Your winter-weather is even better than the summer weather in Holland... it's 15 degrees now :(

Lovely dress, I love the combination of light blue and bright pink. <3

Love the green tights with this joyfully pretty floral frock (they reinforce the garden theme all the more to me).

How did Babycat handle the thunder? Stella isn't a huge fan of it at all (I don't blame here at all, until last year we lived in a high rise apartment on the 23rd floor and my gosh, was the thunder noisy when you're that high up in the sky), and often runs to hide if it kicks up.

Romance Dame : super sparkly! :) thanks x

Georgia Rose : hehe we could form a club, ha! ;D

Kim : yep it can be – and then it can do freezing, grey and rainy very well, too! :D x

Jessica Cangiano : Babycat was not the least bit bothered by it..! She is the honey badger of the cat world :) Woah, the 23rd floor would be scary for sure! And poor Stella! x

Just Dont Tell Anyone : thanks! x
