black vintage full skirted dress, stripes, and a touch of gold
Last Saturday, I wore the last of my black and white outfits – well, at least for now – and one of my favourites. I paired the black vintage silk faille dress with a green and white stripe skirt (ok, so it's not quite black and white then) (but the green is a very muted dark khaki, it almost looks black!) and my new black bag. I also wore some vintage fur over my vintage (oh, how many times can I say vintage?!) grey princess coat becuase it was freeeeezing – Melbourne's doing winter very well at the moment! Not only was it freezing, it was really windy, too. Super crazy windy. Look at my hair! Did someone say... frizzy?!?!?! We got home in the afternoon and hunkered down for the night. Our friend came and stayed over, and I made beef bourguignon for us all. Warm and hearty was needed! I think the crow outside, calling to his crow friends in our tree, wanted to join us. We stayed up late drinking red wine and being nostalgic about all the grunge videos being played on Rage and staying close to the heater. A very good, cozy night in.
