blues and greens should definitely be seen

green and blue g While I get ready for this Sunday, let's look at last Sunday: windy, sunny and unusually warm for this time of year. John and I visited family and then friends in the beautiful Inner Norf. This is what North Carlton looks like!

I broke from my pencil skirted winter thing and wore a summery vintage cotton skirt with a soft grey jumper and some sea beadies. The skirt is full but long enough to not become a face-covering shroud every time the wind blows, which is often, and it was nice – strange, but nice – to have bare legs in that sun. The following Monday, winter was well and truly back, but the little break, and the little peek into the coming Spring, was not entirely terrible! green and blue d green and blue b green and blue a green and blue c green and blue j green and blue f green and blue h green and blue i green and blue e

Aw this skirt is super pretty! I love how full it is. The gray sweater looks great with it. I love that this outfit is a mix of spring and winter.

We're having similar weather here. A nice prelude to Spring.

It's pretty neat how you still have flowers blooming in winter. Where I'm from, everything is completely dead during winter! Your outfit is so nice, I just bought a sweater like yours :)

Seems like spring is in the air there now. I see your gradually starting to rock the summer dresses once more? haha!
It doesn't seem that long ago that your winter started.......winters here in the UK are wayyy too long for my liking....I wish the seasons were more balanced!
Saying that, we've had an exceptional summer this year - by our standards anyway :D

That they most certainly should be! I love cool/mellow tones like these together. They harmonize gorgeously and are so befitting for the milder days of spring.

‪Jamie Rose‬ : thanks! I wish it would be winter for longer though, complete with no sunshine!

‪Debs‬ : you like it? I'm not ready for it! :)

‪Maxabella‬ : yes, but I want to catch it and keep it a bit longer!

‪xStroutx‬ : thanks :)

‪Rosalinda Tjioe‬ : thank you!

‪kelsie marie mcnair‬ : oh, I thought they were magnolias! There you go :) I do like them, so big and dramatic, but surely a bit too hasty this year!

‪Helen Mae‬ s: thank you x

‪Elke‬ : <3

‪Mabel‬ : such a useful sweater. Our winter seems to be confused and is doing spring; and it's always our summer when everything dies. ugh. I don't want another one...

‪Emma Cherry‬ : I would swap in a flash, out summers are waaayyyy too long and our winters are disappointing. I really don't want to be in summer dresses yet – I need a proper break from them! Sick of them! ;D

‪Anders E‬ : <3

‪InTheLibrary‬ : summer is horrible when it's too hot, hope it cools down for you! :)

‪Jessica Cangiano‬ s: thank you sweet lady :)
