I broke from my pencil skirted winter thing and wore a summery vintage cotton skirt with a soft grey jumper and some sea beadies. The skirt is full but long enough to not become a face-covering shroud every time the wind blows, which is often, and it was nice – strange, but nice – to have bare legs in that sun. The following Monday, winter was well and truly back, but the little break, and the little peek into the coming Spring, was not entirely terrible!

blues and greens should definitely be seen
While I get ready for this Sunday, let's look at last Sunday: windy, sunny and unusually warm for this time of year. John and I visited family and then friends in the beautiful Inner Norf. This is what North Carlton looks like!
