pale blue and mustard

blue-mustard-wool c Pale blue and mustard is a colour combination I like so much at the moment that I wore it again last Friday evening to go out for cocktails with John. The vintage wiggle dress from this got an outing with my mustard tights which I promise I wash between when you see them on the blog! I liked them together with my new snake shoes. The wool dress is so soft and warm and like wearing a snuggly jumper, which was good for that raw night, especially as I got off the tram too early and walked the rest of the way to the bar. We had (delicious) espresso martinis, which I'm showing here not because it's an amazingly good instagram (ha!) but because they made little faces saying "oh"! blue-mustard-wool b blue-mustard-wool f blue-mustard-wool e little-kitty-somerset-faces

Gorgeous! I was thinking of you so much on the weekend! After searching for one for an age and a half, I finally found a vintage appropriate mustard hued cardigan (from Ann Taylor's Loft line) earlier this year and gave it an inaugural spin on Saturday. This is the first mustard cardi I've ever had and I just know it's going to be a frequent wardrobe player from here on out.

I really love that dress! And paired with the mustard stockings and your new shoes, it looks super! I hope your feet didn't get too sore walking a long distance in your new shoes. My poor feet don't feel very happy if I try to do a marathon in heels ;)

I can't believe it's still wool and stockings weather in Melbourne!
At least it means you get more time to wear your beautiful winter outfits :D
